Summer of the Spirit
At Mercy Commons we are Trinitarian in theology AND practice. We believe that the Holy Spirit is active not just in empowering the believer toward Christlikeness, but also activates gifts that are for the edifying, encouragement and comfort of the body. These gifts are also ones that we want to learn to use outside of the context of the Gathering. How we hear God, the revelatory gifts of prophecy, words of knowledge, wisdom, what we do with dreams, visions etc are all things that we are called to eagerly pursue. We are creating a consistent opportunity where we can “earnestly desire”, learn, practice and debrief what a pursuit of the gifts looks like for the glory of Jesus. We are calling this Summer of the Spirit.
