We have no official dress code, but can probably be described as casual. Wear whatever you are comfortable in and that takes the current weather into account.
You’ll fit right in!The YMCA gym is air conditioned though, so having a light sweater on hand just in case the venue leans on the cooler side might not be a bad idea.
Take a seat anywhere you like. One of our volunteers would be happy to help you settle in.
We meet at the Fullerton YMCA, 9:30am every Sunday morning. Click the button for directions.
DirectionsParking is free. Drive down right to the end of Youth Way (look out for our church signage at the traffic circle on E Valencia Mesa Dr which should point you in the right direction). If the YMCA parking lot is full, there are additional spaces available at the Community Nursery School right before the YMCA.
Once you have parked, head to the main entrance where our volunteers will be happy to welcome and assist you.

Children are securely checked in before our gatherings at any one of our stations. A volunteer will point you in the right direction, or even accompany you to the exact spot if you need a little more assistance than our adequate signage. At the end of our gathering, you will collect your children at the same place that you dropped them off.
Our Jr. High students meet every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month with trusted facilitators. Their lesson and discussion takes place while the sermon is being preached in our main gathering. Our Sunday host will dismiss them and give instructions directly after our time of singing.
More about Jr. high
God speaks primarily through His word but also uses His people to speak through what are known as gifts of the Holy Spirit. Therefore you might see various members of Mercy Commons bring short contributions during our time of singing – these may include reading a passage of scripture, sharing an encouragement, or praying a specific prayer.

We usually respond to the sermon by meditating on the message through song, prayer and by taking communion – our host will lead the congregation in facilitating these moments. We will have trusted leaders available to offer personal and specific prayer afterwards should you need it.

Finding a church home can be tough, especially if you only visit once or twice. Therefore, we encourage you to stay for “4 More”! As you commit to attending consistently for four weeks, you will have the chance to experience differences in our gatherings such as hearing different preachers, music teams, and meeting different people – giving you a better feel for how we operate. More importantly, it gives us a chance to get to know you! By the end of four weeks, you will be better informed and closer to knowing if Mercy Commons is the right place for you.
