• What ideas have you had about God, other people, and the world that when challenged you would sacrifice anything to accomplish your will (like Jonah buying passage on a boat away from God)?

• How might God be inviting you to partner with the world around you to seek the common good in the midst of the storm?

• Do you feel like there are people in your life that you have grown indifferent towards because you believe them to be incapable of receiving the mercy of God?

• Are there behaviors, or patterns of thought that Jesus is inviting you to surrender to Him in an act of obedience?
