The Rebel and the Storm
“Sin hardens the conscience, locks you in the prison of your own defensiveness and rationalizations and eats you up slowly from the inside.”
~ Keller
Reflection questions around the Sunday message:
What ideas have you had about God, other people, and the world that when challenged you would sacrifice anything to accomplish your will (like Jonah buying passage on a boat away from God)?
How might God be inviting you to partner with the world around you to seek the common good in the midst of the storm?
Do you feel like there are people in your life that you have grown indifferent towards because you believe them to be incapable of receiving the mercy of God?
Are there behaviors, or patterns of thought that Jesus is inviting you to surrender to Him in an act of obedience?
